Would still love a person even if you know you can't have him/her?
Seems like, and this is just my opinion, men and women approach this situation differently. For women, it is a yes. They tend to love despite such an obstacle. Men stop, possibly out of respect or deference to whatever "obstacle" is there. But men tend to wait of that "obstacle" to disappear. If it doesn't, it was not meant to be, men tend to think.
On that hypothesis, I am a typical male. I will stop when I know I can't have her.

The day has finally come.
I got hold of a copy of the decision declaring my marriage void by reason of psychological incapacity.
It was a bumpy ride to get to this point. And I know this will not end soon.
So what now?
Of course the sun will still rise and set. There is an upward surge in work. As you may have noticed, my blog has been populated mostly by Formspring content. The children still need love, care, affection and support.
As John Mellencamp has written, "Life goes on long after thrill of living is gone."
But, there is a difference. And it is this: I am free.
I am free to explore the possibilities of what could be. In everything. Whatever that means.
I am free of the burden of being married to a person and perhaps free to marry again, if the right one comes. Maybe they were just hiding around the bushes, waiting for this opportunity.
In any case, I have not forgotten my promise to my children. I will not put my happiness ahead of theirs.
Nevertheless, I will take some time to savor the moment and be grateful that things still work out for the best in the end. It's still time to thank God for continuing to smile at me despite of myself.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Now on the the next chapter in this book called life...
