What's the worst injury you've had, and how did it happen?

It just turned New Year 2005, the year I took the bar exams. I tried to retrieve something from outside the house. Since there were still some firecrackers at the time, one blasted near a stone, ejecting it, then landed on my forehead. I thought a bullet hit me on the head because blood gushed out and my eyeglasses had a rolling curtain of red. I was rushed to the hospital and became a 2005 New Year injury statistic.
