This day in history from:

Police Story

Once upon a time, there were these policemen who were in counterinsurgency training in Cebu.

There were training very hard in honing their skills. They became very good at it and their superiors armed them with the latest weapons.

Then they were sent out to battle at sea. They lost.

To whom? Not the NPA. Not the MILF. Not the Abu Sayaf or Jemah Islamiah. They lost to DIKYA! (Jellyfish!)

This is based on a true story... They're better off playing Counterstrike instead...

EEwww!! DIKYA! When I was a little girl during low tide in our family private beach resort, I would love to get each dikya with a stick and put them to melt in the hot burning noontime sand; that's how I hated dikya when I was a little girl.

Your story reminded me of this, which I read from a friend's blog, will shre the story here:

The Philippine National Police, The National Bureau of Investigation and the Armed Forces of the Philippines are all trying to prove that they are the best at apprehending criminals.

The President decides to give them a test. She releases a rabbit into a forest and each of them has to catch it.

The AFP goes in. They place animal informants throughout the forest. They question all plant and mineral witnesses. After three months of extensive investigations they conclude that rabbits do not exist.

The NBI goes in. After two weeks with no leads they burn the forest, killing everything in it, including the rabbit, and they make no apologies. The rabbit had it coming.

The PNP goes in. They come out two hours later with a badly beaten monkey. The monkey is yelling: "Okay! Okay! I'm a rabbit! I'm a rabbit!"

Heheheheh!

Well, as my teacher says (a son of a famous PC general during Marcos time) this is the heirarchy of intelligence (in this order):

First: Human Intelligence
Second: Animal Intelligence
Third and lowest: Military Intelligence

So God granted him what he requested.
