No Sympathy, No Prayers
Pardon me (or more accurately, your wife pardon me), but you'll get no sympathy, no prayers from me. This is one of the last remaining rights I have in this country and I'm exercising it: the right to withhold such from you.
As a matter of fact, I'm exercising the only other right I have to say "Serves you right!" or "You deserve everything that's coming to you."
And believe me, I'm not alone in this sentiment.

atty. punzi, where are you going? is it going to be for vacation or seminar?
atty. punzi, i would like to ask for your help. i just passed the 2006 bar exams and i have never worked in my entire life. i just have a few questions. i hope you could help me out.
here are my question:
1. would you recommend working with the pao?
2. as for law firms, how will i know if they are in need of associates?
3. how do i send in my resume? should it be by personal service, mail or email?
4. do i have to submit my transcript together with the resume? what other documents do i have to submit together with the resume?
5. what questions are usually asked in interviews? does the interview go like a revalida where anything and everything under a particular subject could be asked? are there hypothetical questions given? will it be by a panel?
thank you so much, atty. punzi.
I actually told my wife on Monday, "if he dies tonight, then I acknowledge that there is a God." (you know me, flaming atheist.) Turns out I didn't have to do anything, but you can bet I sweated a bit that night. ;)
@Anonymous: Decided to answer your questions in a separate entry.
@micketymoc: Oh well... not out of the woods yet...
True that. But the opposition better pray that he pull through. Imagine the sympathy votes going GMA's way when (please God when) the First Lardass kicks it.
As a grieving widow, you can bet GMA will be practically politically bulletproof.
True. But fortunately, she's not up for elections and I personally think her political magic will not rub off her candidates, only her political blunders do. But that's just me... feel free to disagree...
I'm not talking about the elections. I'm talking about her own political actions - as a widow, she'll be able to pull off sh!t that, had Mike Arroyo been alive, would have had the masa on the streets yelling for her head!
I understand now... you have a point.
