Jam Session

At the end of a grueling day yesterday, where my multi-tasking skills were once again utilized, and after all the administrative meetings of the firm, we had a little fun.

My partner brought a guitar and a beat box early that day. I brought my old flute and Al, Sophie and Clarry II.

Then an hour of some jamming, to the delight of our staff and our associate lawyers, leading our managing partner to come up with a new firm slogan:

"We do weddings, and then annul them, too."

Then on to practice with him for a number we are to perform for a client's birthday tomorrow. We'll play "The Way You Look Tonight." That lasted well into the night, leading us to miss a birthday dinner party. I hope he forgives us for not showing up.

Let's see what will happen to that gig tomorrow.
