Casts a reflection on the Bigger Picture
The Palarong Pambansa Cheating Controversy is nothing but a mere reflection on Philippine society.
We have cheated to get ahead in this society, spat on the honest people, taunting them to leave the proverbial kitchen if they could not stand the heat. And that's exactly what they did and actually thrived, even excelled outside the country.
But worse, we now cheat just to survive.
To this we shrug our shoulders and rationalize the whole thing by arguing, "We would have gotten ahead anyway without cheating."
And those leading the country who is not guilty of this, let them cast the first stone....
How sad. Anyone care to join me to the Canadian Embassy?
