And how was my day?
Got up early, as in any weekday, to take Bea to school.
Surfed the web, tried to blog (but couldn't) and retrieved the email that came when I was sleeping. Watched footage of the 7.7.7 NYC YouTube Meetup and wishing I was there and not this (insert your expletive of choice here) country...
Had breakfast and my one cup-of-coffee per day (but lately, the coffee's Starbucks).
Went off to my consultancy, but only after attending to some errands my mom had be do. (Sometimes, I wish it was my money I was handling when I go on these errands. What I would give for some financial security...)
After a brief consultation, there was nothing more I could do for the day. But I stuck around to catch up on some gossip (heheheheheh!).
(I could have gone to a friend's law office to beg for some work, but elected not to because I was feeling down and doing that will most certainly not contribute anything to my already low self-esteem. But sooner or later I have to, because I have mouths to feed, but not yet...)
Had a late lunch, went home and then tested Lindsay's webcam on a real Skype videocall from someone far, far away (like Holland).
Helped Bea with his homework, played with Nico, then did a little more surfing.
Ran a disk scan on Scarlett while having dinner because once again, I had to use the power switch to shut her down. (This time, she would not wake up from sleep.) Lindsay's faring better these days and I'm actually using her right now to blog. (It's really better to use a computer with a 17" display and a full-sized keyboard, eventhough the laptop is decked out with more specs... translation: I want a 17" MacBook Pro...)
Now, I'm kind of sleepy (Katherine Heigl overload last weekend) and my kids are likewise winding down... did not even touch Clarry, Sofie or Al today.
Tomorrow? More of the same I guess...
1 Objection(s):
It's so nice for me to have found this blog of yours, it's so interesting. I sure hope and wish that you take courage enough to pay me a visit in my PALAVROSSAVRVS REX!, and plus get some surprise. My blog is also so cool! Don't think for a minute that my invitation is spam and I'm a spammer. I'm only searching for a public that may like or love what I write.
Feel free off course to comment as you wish and remember: don't take it wrong, don't think that this visitation I make is a matter of more audiences for my own blogg. No. It's a matter of making universal, realy universal, all this question of bloggs, all the essential causes that bring us all together by visiting and loving one another.
You must not feel obliged to come and visit me. An invitation is not an intimation. Also know that if you click on one of my ads I'm promised to earn 8 cents for that: I would feel happy if you did click it, but once again you're totaly free to do what ever you want. I, for instance, choose immediatly to click on one of your ads. To do so or not, that's the whole beauty of it all.
I think it's to UNITE MANKIND that we became bloggers! Don't see language as an obstacle but as a challenge (though you can use the translater BabelFish at the bottom of my page!) and think for a minute if I and the rest of the world are not expecting something like a broad cumplicity. Remenber that pictures talk also. Open your heart and come along!!!!!
