Storm Working
Believe it or not, I had to work yesterday, albeit from home.
I had to prepare a presentation for my consultancy, to be presented in none other than the Supreme Court. Had to research, write the paper and make the Powerpoint presentation in one day, yesterday of all days.
Fortunately, we did not lose power, despite the strong wind and heavy rains and I was, more or less, inspired to do it.
Then, I had to show up at my consultancy today for most of the morning and some part of the afternoon to discuss the presentation with the boss.
Afterwards, it was off to the office for some desk work. But that ended early, so here I am at home. Did not even get to meet my partners today. Two of them got stuck up in the north when the storm broke over the weekend and I got news that they're on their way home. That's a relief.
Because of the storm, and the work I did despite it, I really did not get some rest yesterday. So I'll probably catch up now.
Until tomorrow...
(And oh, you don't make up for your absence in the country at its time of dire need by berating people left and right... but enjoy the fight, anyway...)
