Expectancy

I had a unscheduled meeting late this afternoon to explore a prospect.

No, that will not bear fruit in the immediate future (in a week or so). But hopefully it will bear fruit. Lots of it.

Then off to a meeting with a long-time client/friend at a swanky restaurant by Manila Bay. I have not been to the place for a long time and it looks fantastic. The food there looks very good. Too bad, I could not partake of it because I had to work.

Of course, I did not go away hungry. But it could have been more.

I have to make this entry short because I have to rest. I'll be a bus driver tomorrow. Yes, I know it is a Saturday but Bea and her cousins still have their last day of periodical exams tomorrow. And because my sister has a prior commitment, I'll be fetching them from school as well.

That errand will also make me miss choir at the EDSA Shrine for tomorrow as well...
