Change of Plans
I was supposed to just rest up today and deal with some paperwork backlog.
But there was a change of plans.
Bea, Nico, my mother and I went to Greenhills.
There, I got a new keyboard cover for Scarlett that allowed the keyboard to vent heat out, unlike my old cover that is not only broken but also traps heat by blocking the exhaust out of the keyboard area. The only problem I have with it is I'm quite bothered by the heat I feel as I type this blog entry.
Bea asked to get these "shutter shades" that does not have any function except look like some rap star. Fortunately, it was cheap.
I also got a monopod for the camera. I better practice my monopod skills if I want to do a better job at Bea's field demonstration next year.
I almost got tempted to get that battery grip for my new camera and an extra battery. Fortunately, that camera place did not accept my remaining fresh credit card.
Oh, since Bea went with my mother, I got the chance to spend some alone time with Nico, as we did not bring his nanny with us. He was relatively well-behaved. And he's turning out to be a fine, curious and intelligent person. And for that, I'm truly grateful.
Then I did some fiddling around with Scarlett that only ended now. Yes, it took that long because of some installation problems that I only solved just a little while back.
So to deal with my work backlog, I decided to sleep as soon as I finish this entry and then just wake up early tomorrow morning. I just hope I'm not as irritated by the extra heat when I later.
So that means I'm turning in for the night.
