Single-Parent Blues
Nobody said it was going to be easy being a single parent.
But there are times when I just want to throw my hands up and throw in the towel.
But of course, that's easier said than done. As a matter of fact, giving up is not an option.
Anyway, Bea's school is turning out to be unfriendly to single parents. For the first time, the parents decided to schedule a "camp out" family day from Friday afternoon to the evening.
Of course, I cannot attend that one, leaving Bea without a family. Of course, she will not be attending that since she will just feel left out.
It's not as if that schedule will run into my "night out," TGIF time. I don't do that and I'm not that kind of person. I really have to work at that time.
I better stop this ranting now. I'm beginning to get an ache at the back of my neck.
