If it were up to me... (the series)
I think I'll start a new series of posts with that title above.
It'll just be a forum for my aspirations, my most sincere wishes (even mundane ones).
So here goes...
If it were up to me, I'll be in the United States pursuing either further studies in law (a master's degree, probably) or studying for the New York bar.
That was my career plan about ten years ago. And I already had a funding deal with my parents for the graduate studies.
But marriage (that failed anyway) and children changed all that and I was swept into the rat race.
It's not that I regret it, you know, because my kids will always be a blessing to me. But sometimes, I just stop and imagine what could have been if it were up to me...
Anyway... I have a long day ahead. Time to freshen up and prepare...
