Cyberdad
Took him to his regular vet, I mean, pediatrician when I panicked as he developed rashes. It's a viral condition so he was not given any anti-biotics. But the doctor gave him antihistamines to manage them. He has missed school since Friday and will only go back if he goes for a day without a fever.
But his temperature is still all over the place. So I think he'll be back on Thursday or Friday.
His condition is also contagious. Hence, Bea is in my sister's place since last Friday. We brought her clothes and other supplies to last until Wednesday.
But tonight she has some homework to do tonight on the life of her patron saint (who turned out to be St. John Baptiste de La Salle). And of all the times my sister's DSL connection can break down, it chose this night. So I did the research for her homework and we discussed it over the phone.
Fortunately, the connection was restored and I emailed it to my sister's house just now. The rest is up to them over there, I suppose.
Thanks to the wonders of technology, I can still be a father to Bea, albeit she's not here in the house. I should have installed the webcam last Saturday so I can talk to her. But this will do for now. Anyway, she's be here as soon as Nico recovers.
I likewise worked from the house today, relying on the same technology. Thanks to this, I can still fulfill my dual duties from the comfort of the house. It's cheaper that way too since I saved on fuel.
Anyway, tomorrow I have to leave the house for some errands. Hopefully, Nico will be recover soon enough so I will not worry when I do leave.
This was likewise a day of prospects, that would hopefully materialize within the week. There's no shame in hoping, you know. Jabez, Jabez, Jabez...
