A Piece of Kit
Spend most of the time there talking to the insurance and the warranty guys. Of course, I talked to the insurance guy about the damages the car suffered in my February mishap. Then, I talked to the warranty guys about the premature rust on the car doors.
The body repairs will not take too much time but the door replacements will... Let's just hope I will not need that car too much next month.
But in the end, they told me to take the car home first as they need to process the paperwork I just submitted. With any luck, I could bring the car in by Monday.
Anyway, that gave me more time to go immediately to my consultancy this afternoon instead of commuting home first to get the other car.
And that, in turn, allowed me to go home earlier than usual.
But before going home, I dropped by my neighborhood Yamaha dealer to pick up a flute-cleaning kit they failed to include when I got my new flute.
It's a good thing they gave me that piece of kit early. I was having a hard time cleaning the flute by just using some flannel cloth. Now, I can give my new flute the proper cleaning and polishing it deserves.
Now, if I can just put in some practice time today so I can get used to playing without the plugs sooner than later...
