Big Leagues

It's beginning to be a frenzy over at work these past few days.

Personally, I'm swamped quite a lot of big cases and projects. To put work into perspective, I had a major project between late 2006 and early 2007 that had me working through the holidays, my birthday and a good part of January 2007.

Now, I have around five of those, maybe more. I forgot to check.

One good thing though. On that one project in the past, we were only three people working on it (clients not included). Now, we have an entire complement of lawyers, secretaries and other non-legal staff working on these projects.

As I said to my law partner, it was a good thing we expanded. We could not handle the big leagues if we were just a fledgling practice of two.

And for all of these, I am truly grateful.

PRAYER FOR GENEROSITY
Lord Jesus,
Teach me to be generous,
Teach me to serve You as You deserve
To give and not to count the cost,
To fight and not to heed the wounds,
