Collective Thought
All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him. If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him, like a shadow that never leaves him. (Buddha)
It naturally follows that once you start to change your thoughts from evil to good, one will attract the good.
So there really is wisdom with thinking happy thoughts. And the good thing is, it is possible to literally change one's life by the power of thought.
And what if we all (as in the country) think of good thoughts? By this theory, we will attract the good henceforth. Perhaps, that will start our country's recovery.
Now I do not mean this at the cost of justice and accountability. Those will come in their own time. But we can always start with having good thought and good moods at the beginning of the day, everyday.
I've been trying that since my change in perspective and it has worked for me since. And I'm sure, my life will turn around. And I'm grateful even for that already.
Try it. There's nothing to loose and everything to gain.
