A good day no matter what
Take my day yesterday. Despite the weather, I had to go all the way to Serendra for a meeting. I did not like it at first because I already turned back and people know that when I'm already at home, it takes a lot of effort for me to overcome the law of inertia.
I said to myself, "This will still be a good day, despite it all."
And lo and behold, my trip was light, despite the heavy rains. It was already after lunch and students and government employees were already sent home. Floods in EDSA already subsided. And I actually made the trip with minimal stress.
And when I got to the meeting, it turns out I was badly needed and they piled me up with a lot of work. That's good news because that's directly proportional to what I charge them.
And I'm going to attend to that work today. That's today's agenda.
And since I was in Serendra already, I already made a "visualization" trip by actually seeing and touching the things I am going to get someday, like the new iMac, that's already here. I'm getting the 24-incher, you know...
There's really everything to gain (and nothing to loose) with having a positive perspective. At the very least, you get good days, everyday. No matter what happens.
Try it. You'll be surprised how beneficial it is.
